“Terror in the Deep”

Monster Mash-Up was a public domain crossover anthology featuring characters and creatures from legend, literature, and more. In developing this story, I delved into researching public domain superheroes from the Golden Age and was instantly hooked and fascinated by these characters. I ended up choosing Lash Lightning and the Kraken for this story, but I knew I wanted to revisit many of those public domain heroes at some point. This was also the first story I did with Hailey, an amazing artist and graduate of the Kubert School whose work I absolutely adore. She absolutely killed it on this.
